Investigate the Abuse and neglect

Approved Humane Investigators investigate complaints of animal neglect that get called into the HAHS office.  If you think you or someone you know has what it takes to become a Humane Investigator, please contact us.  Investigators must live in Illinois, have experience with horses and must pass the Investigator exam held every November by the Illinois Department of Agriculture.  HAHS holds an annual prep course for the exam every October.
