| Nelly came to us after we went to investigate a case about a starving pony in White County IL. It turned out that another pony already had died at the site due to malnutrition. The owner admitted that he was unable to feed the animal and opted to relinquish rather than have legal actions brought against him. Nelly is being fostered at present, because she was too weak to make the trip to our farm. Nelly is in rehabilitation and has put on quite some weight. | ||
