| He is a gelding from a northwestern county of Illinois impounded by the States Attorney and regretfully returned to the owner by the courts, under supervision of HAHS. Lotsa was subsequently relinquished to HAHS by the owner, as he realized that caring for this many animals is more than he can afford. Lotsa had been stall kept for most of his life. He is quite lame in one of his hind legs. A recent exam by the UWM showed that a possible fracture that was never treated most likely caused his severe arthritis at this young age. With periodic treatments of bute, he will make someone a good pasture pal. Lotsa stands for farrier and understands the basic handling. |
