Minky and the Goats

HAHS is not a Mink Farm.......

BeforeShortly after arrival at HAHS
But we did welcome Minky. An elderly lady, legally blind and wheelchair bound, desperately needed someone to take her horse and three goats. Her husband had left her, and her son, although he was taking care of the farm, was not providing proper care for the animals. The situation was examined by our investigator and it was confirmed, that the animals needed help.

AfterA change for the better
Although Minky was diagnosed with Cushing's disease, with medication and proper nutrition, Minky has turned into a very pretty and happy resident. One of her companions was lost due to lymphadentitis, but Cocoa and Chocolate are doing well and are striving.
