Juan

The Escape Artist 

Before
In August 2006, Juan joined us at HAHS. He is a 10 year old driving donkey, who refused to stay at home. After numerous escapes to a farm four miles away, he was relinquished to HAHS because his owners decided they didn't want him anymore. Seems llike the feeling was mutual; every time they collected him at the other farm, he refused to load for the ride home, forcing them to walk him all that way. We couldn't figure out why his feet were so long when we heard that. Interestingly, when he saw our rig, he jumped right into the HAHS trailer unassisted!

After
Juan enjoys the company of his new owners and from what we understand has not escaped once.
