Port Edward Dinner Fundraiser

Come join HAHS at the Port Edward Restaurant in Algonquin, IL on August 25, 2016 for dinner and drinks outside on their patio and 10% of all dinner sales will go towards HAHS and our mission of helping hooved animals!

HAHS staff will be there from 4pm-9pm along with a miniature horse to greet visitors!!

Volunteer Orientation

Calling all people interested in volunteering at HAHS! Join us for mandatory Volunteer Orientation beginning at 9am. Meet at the main building and come dressed to work (pants, closed toed shoes).

To become a volunteer you must be age 16 or older, or age 12-15 with a parent or legal guardian volunteering alongside you.

Basic Investigator Training

Basic Investigator Training is for people interested in becoming Approved Humane Investigators through the Hooved Animal Humane Society, current investigators who need to retest, animal control officers, police officers, state's attorneys, paralegals and all others who are involved in the criminal and civil aspects of animal law. This course will discuss Illinois' Humane Care for Animals Act and its application to cruelty and abuse investigations throughout the state.

Picnic and Fun Show

Saturday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
HAHS is hosting our annual picnic and horseshow! The event will be fun for the whole family and features a horse, pig, and goat show, good food, wagon rides and games!

Tickets are $5 and kids 10 & under are FREE. The event runs from 9am - 4pm with demonstrations during lunch featuring adoptable HAHS horses!
If interested in entering the horse show, competitors can arrive with their horses anytime after 8am. Classes are $5 each and there is a $2 office fee per rider.

Rain or shine! Come out and have some fun!

HAHS is hosting our annual Winter Celebration with food, games, tours of the farm, and the chance to meet HAHS staff and animals! A fun family event!! Admission is a suggested donation of $2.

All proceeds benefit HAHS' efforts to promote the humane treatment of hooved animals.
