Directions to HAHS from Chicago

  1. I-90 West to Rockford
  2. Exit Rt 47 (2nd exit after Elgin Toll Plaza) - turn right (North) at the end of the exit ramp
  3. Take Rt 47 north through the town of Huntley 15 miles until Woodstock
  4. After you cross Rt 14, McConnell Rd. is the 2nd stop light. (Still on Rt 47 and you will go under a train viaduct just before McConnell Rd.)
  5. Turn right on McConnell Rd. HAHS is 1.25 miles down on the left side.

From North Suburbs

  1. Rt 176 West to Rt 14 turn right heading Northwest
  2. Turn right (or North) on Rt 47
  3. Turn right on McConnell Rd.
  4. HAHS is 1.25 miles down on the left side of McConnell

From downstate

  1. Take Rt 47 north until Woodstock
  2. After you cross Rt 14, McConnell Rd. is the 2nd stop light. (Still on Rt 47 and you will go under a train viaduct just before McConnell Rd.)
  3. Turn right on McConnell Rd. HAHS is 1.25 miles down on the left side.
