Mia Bella came to HAHS in July 2015 through a Lake County Animal Control case. Mia Bella was only 8 months old and given a low body score when she arrived at the HAHS farm. Said to be a Barb/Tennessee Walking Horse cross, this cute little dun filly was very nervous and scared about being handled. Although the other horses on the property were in good shape, Mia Bella was thin and sickly looking.
Mia Bella was skittish and nervous about being handles when she came to HAHS. She was also sluggish and dull and very grateful for the food we provided.
Since here arrival at HAHS, Mia Bella has started to warm up to attention and is calmer about being handled. We can't wait to see this pretty filly grow!
Mia Bella still had a lot of growing and filling out to do - we are sure she will grow into a beautiful mare! Mia Bella is much more curious and playful around both people and other horses!
