A Busy Season

 A Busy Season

Spring into Summer has been a very busy season for HAHS. There were so many investigations that yielded suffering horses and goats to be rescued.

There was the case inHombre at arrival at HAHS Roodhouse where a large herd of horses was seized by local authorities. When HAHS was asked to assist, we took Cowboy and Hombre, Sonny and Cinn, four of the most needy horses. All have recovered and are awaiting their forever home.

Then there were Howie and Penelope and the running at large goats. As we write this, there are six more horses that were starving to death that are now in our care and at least 15 more are to be rescued. The list goes on and on. We need to emphasize how important it is for, and we want to encourage anyone that witnesses abuse or neglect of any kind, to please step up to the plate, file the report, and save a life.
